Tickets are selling quickly for the 2010 Bluff Oyster & Food Festival which takes place at the Real Journeys site on Foreshore Road adjacent to the Old Town Wharf in Bluff on Saturday 22 May.

While the tickets are moving briskly, Southlanders are being outmanouevered as the large majority of tickets are being sold outside the province. However that appears to be the normmal trend as locals generally tend to purchase their tickets in the last weeks before the Festival.
Tickets are limited however and with sales keeping pace with those of the last two years since the Festival moved to its current venue and those two years being extremely close to sell outs locals would be well advised to make their plans sooner rather than later.
The Festival is shaping up well and with approximately 20,000 Bluff Oysters constituting the feature attraction of the event it is little wonder oyster and seafood lovers are heading south in their droves for a big day in the south in May.
Another fantastic line up of entertainers will again grace the stage this year while the unique Oyster events - the opening and eating races and the Kayes Bakery Creativity Awards offer entertainment at every corner of the venue.
Several new food stalls join many of the old favourites this year ensuring that Festival goers have the opportunity to sample a new variety of succulent offerings. The food will appeal to more than just seafood lovers as all tastes are catered for.
